Tackle It Tuesday #3

It's late Tuesday night (early Wednesday morning) as I post this. I didn't do a Tackle It Tuesday in time for Tuesday because I simply didn't have the time. Well, that's not totally true, I guess I did have the time, but chose to use it tackling some work here instead of on the internet. I've found that I'm spending far too much time doing these "posting jobs" lately. First you have to plan and do the post, then you have to surf around the net reading other people's posts and leaving them messages so they will come to your blog and read your post. Whew, that can take a big chunk out of the day.

So today I used that "blog time" to actually do some work. I forgot to take a picture of it, but will quickly tell you... I don't have garbage pickup here, I take it to the dump myself from time to time. During the winter this year I "stock piled" the garbage in my carport. You see, last winter I put it all into my utility trailer and in the spring took it to the dump. When I was weighed it came to over $21 she wanted... YIKES! The garbage was wet so weighed a lot more than it should have. So this winter I kept it all in where it would stay dry. Today I put all that into the trailer, and cleaned up some from outside too. So the trailer is about 1/3 full now. I have other garbage to sort and load yet, including branches and that kind of thing, then will take it all to the dump and get rid of it. I also swept the front steps. I didn't do all that much, but it sure looks a lot better. I plan to get more done soon.
