Sooooo vicious. Truly...what a baby. I am a huge dog fan, I love how they behave. They are so smart. I can even tell what my dog, Roy is thinking. He just has to look at me with those big ol' brown eyes and I just know. It's kind of weird. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hi Alice:
My son adored Rotts! After he passed away, I found a stuffed one I sleep with like a baby!
Nothing would do, but on our trip to BC last year, (Paula & I), Rotti came too.
He rode on the top of my purse or on my shoulder the whole trip. Picture a gray haired old lady, being pushed in a wheel-chair, holding a stuffed Rotti.
On one change in an airport a stewardess thought he was real and said "no pets" on the plane. The one pushing mE, whispered, "it's not real!"
Rotti and I still remember & wish we could visit again. Maybe one of these days, we will.

Oh the dreaded living room full of snow after a stuffy attack!

Our new Dane is actually pretty good with his stuffies - doesn't tear them apart much, but our old Dane Kaiser used to destroy them in minutes!

Cute pictures :-)

Never had a chance. :)

That's too cute - reminds me of my kids and how quickly they tire of one thing....unless of course it's a movie or TV show that will drive mom nuts...LOL

Hugs,
Holly

Thanks to everyone for visiting my Wordless Wednesday!!

Whenn - there's no oooppps about it, she meant to do that... LOL.

Jennyr - no, she's not really tired, more just tired of that game... Haha

Rebecca - those big brown eyes can really "do you in" at times can't they, hahaha. When Reba doesn't want to go outside I can't look at those eyes... she's very good at that.

Claire - for an 8 year old dog, Reba has an amazing amount of "puppy moments"... sigh.

Gattina - it is shocking, for sure, but nope, not a cat toy. However, that Frog Slipper will never attack my foot again!

Alice (in BC Canada) said...

Palmtree - thank you. She's a real sweetheart too.

Barbara - what a wonderful story... thanks for sharing it here. I wish I could have known your son. I have been known to sleep with stuffies too, even at my age, haha. Sometimes in stores I give them the "squeezability test" as I walk by them, LOL. It sounds like your "Rotti" must be VERY life like. Awesome!!! Maybe I'll get to see him/her one day :o)

Bee - Yes, I'd say she definitely got it. That'll teach the darn frog slipper to attack my foot. Just for good measure, on another day she did in the other frog slipper too... haha.

Angelo - thanks for stopping in. Yes, Reba is a good "puppy", especially for an 8 year old... LOL

Kai - it sure didn't take Reba long to "kill" the frog. Before this she's never had stuffies to play with, but I was given this pair of frog slippers and when I went to wear them with her in the house she "went nuts" and "attacked" one of them. She pulled it right off my foot and "went to town" on it. I just "had" to take pictures of it... LOL.

Brian - too true!

Holly - Reba is the biggest of my many "kids", LOL

Foam - riiiiippppp :o)

Valerie - do you have a rotti too? Way cool. Yes, they do definitely keep life interesting... never a dull moment with Reba around :o)

Cute photos. Toy, Rottie? Rottie, toy? 1-0 to the Rottweiler!

I'm captioning this photo for you:
"Dog threatens a rude Kermit the Frog impersonator and then makes good on his promise to rip the stuffing out of him."

or

Ignoring the frog's furtive pleas for a kiss claiming that he'd turn into some kind of 'Frog Prince', the dog decides to perform a necropsy first to see if the frog is telling the truth. Now we'll never know."

Alice (in BC Canada) said...

Skittles - yes, she is a real softy and "uses" those eyes, haha

Eagles Wings - thanks for dropping by. My Reba wins a lot, LOL.

Sanni - Frogs legs are a delicacy aren't they, haha. Reba has never gone after any of my shoes, thank God, until the slippers. Now the other day, she found an old shoe in my closet, one that I don't wear anymore and was planning to get rid of, and has been chewing on it a bit. I don't mind at all, but am thinking I hope she doesn't some day decide to go after my good shoes or boots.

Toraa - thanks for coming by and leaving a comment. You have a lynx? Way cool.

Donna - welcome to my blog. So much for her being the "poster child" for friendly, lovable rottweilers, lol.

Jams - welcome to you too, nice to see you here. Glad you liked the photos.

EWL - I got such a good laugh from your captions. I especially like the first one. Thanks for coming by.
