My First Photo Hunter Post
My friend Dan is the drywaller on this construction job. I went with him the other day to get some of the tools he's finished with now. We took my truck as it's a 4x4 and the road in is pretty muddy and tough going in some spots. He won't take his van in to this job site, but has managed to get in and out in his little beater car, however the tools, saw horses, etc. won't fit into the car. I'm glad I went as it gave me the opportunity to take these and other photos. It also was a wonderful couple hours out there.
As you drive in this is what you see. It's a mud hole now but I'm sure it will be landscaped once the house construction is finished. This house is worth over $2 million, can only be lived in 6 months out of the year due to regulations on where it is, the only source of electricity is from a generator, TV is satellite only (no cable out there). It's 10 kilometers from the nearest public road. Note the walkway on the left side of the house, that's how you get to the front and the door inside.
When you walk along that walkway I pointed out above, you come onto this deck and see this view. How would you like to live here? Obviously there will be railings put up soon too.
I walked down to the lake, where the docks are being built, and took this photo. The last shot was taken from the second floor deck, above where Dan is standing in this shot.

Wow, that is really neat view from the porch! Yeah I'd love it!
Thanks for stopping by!
Wooo!! What a view!
Nice photos :)
What a home. I LOVE the view from the porch and it would be even better if the fish were jumping. Just read a couple of your previous blogs and ... hmmmm, you spicy old gal you. I liked the one about the eight year olds. Behave yourself.
That's a beautiful view from the deck. Who doesn't want to live there? It seem so tranquil. Nice!

oh my goodness. That's a beautiful view. I couldn't imagine living there and seeing that everyday (well at least everyday for six months). What a great set of photos for the theme!
And welcome to the Hunt!
Awesome view!!! I think I'd be nervous way up there ... :)
I may never experience living in such a house but it sure is fun to visit. What a view!!
Wow. People still have money like that, huh. I would love to live there. The view of the lake is outstanding. I see why you had a great time that afternoon!
Wow! That was so cool. It's a gorgeous house with a fantastic view. Pretty awesome. I used to go with my father to some of the houses that he used to build, and I loved helping him. Watching him do it from the ground up was neat.
Thanks for stopping by.
Wow! What a place!

Thanks for visiting my blog, I appreciate that. The house here is something else with a gorgeous view. Too bad it can only be lived in part of the year.
Now that is a beautiful house and you've taken some great pictures!
good job!
Happy weekend!

No doubt, I could live there in a second! As for visiting Paris, who knows what may happen - I never thought I'd go back either and here I am planning a trip with lots of support of friends for this fall to Avignon, France, AND Florence and Venice Italy - will pass through Paris airport but no stopover. As I said, never say never. Take care and have a wonderful Sunday.
WHAT a gorgeous view!!

It's funny...that first picture is misleading; I thought..."$2 million"? And then I saw the other pics...WOW!!! Nice place :-)
What a lovely view...but too far from civilization for me!..Oh to crave a McDonalds...thats not going to happen there! lol..Dan is very lucky to have a job with a view like that! and arent you so lucky you got to take these for this weeks theme!? Thanks for visiting my blog today1
Wow, what a beautiful house! Now that's architecture.
Welcome to the Photo Hunt!
Wow what a view to see every day!
Am a little late visiting and commenting, but I was away for the last week!
It sure looks like it's going to be a great place. I, being a city girl, would worry, living so far away from everything.
A perfect choice for the Photohunt!
