Thought I'd let you all know how it's going.
As I may have mentioned in a previous post, I got a one week trial membership at Goodlife Fitness for Women, went and worked out 4 times in that week. Then I got a one week trial membership from Ladies World and went 2 times. Then, having made my decision, I went back to Goodlife and signed up for a one year membership. That was February 28th. When I signed up I was given the gym bag you see in the photo; 3 free suntan passes; a CD "book" to listen to with a lot of info on it (I really must finish listening to it one day soon, lol), and a booklet with info and a Personal Fitness Log in it. On the PFL you record all your workouts and have someone who works there initial it each time... then after 12 workouts you get an "incentive" gift. I'll let you know soon what they give, but I don't know just yet.
Here is what my PFL looks like so far, in just over 2 weeks:

Okay... that would take too long and I'm tired so headed to bed. Lets just say that is the first "paid membership" workout. Since then I also worked out March 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 17, 18. On the 12th, after doing a full workout I walked around for a bit then took a Core Strengthening Class... wow, just about killed me. Would have been good to do them on two separate days, but not both the same afternoon.
Now, the one I did today, March 18, so you can see the progress.

So, as you can see, I've been doing a fair bit so far. I'm really loving working out and I look forward to when my body starts to really show the changes. I noticed today that my suit jacket fit a bit differently, but that's about all so far.
Then today after working out at the gym, I took Reba to the dog park for a walk. We both very much enjoyed that, it's been awhile since we last went and did that so I must make a point of doing it more often. Reba really needs the exercise as well as she so much loves all the people and other dogs. It's our "social time". My body was VERY tired by the time we left there, lol.

well done work-out-girl!! no wonder you're feeling tired.
love the story of Shadow and Smoothedge.
Thank you, Claire. I always love your feedback. :o) Having Chronic Fatique, I feel tired a lot for no reason... and I plan for these workouts to give me back a bunch of my energy. However, I tend to over do it some days... lol. Oh well, Reba loved it and was a very sleepy girl all evening.
