Thursday 13 - - My 2nd

Thirteen Tea Pots to choose from:

I invited a few people over for tea, so now I need a tea pot. I went to Alstavista to have a look at their images and found a lot of tea pots I like. I downloaded 67 of them, so here are 13 of them. I want you all to tell me which one you like best (place your vote), you can even tell us all why if you like. Also, I'd love it if you all tell me what kind of tea you like best. My favorite is good old "regular" tea. Orange Pekoe. I also like Earl Grey or English Breakfast. In the summer I like fresh picked Chocolate Mint Tea. I never drink coffee. Never liked the smell or the taste of it. But I do love tea.

# 9 and english breakfast tea for me.

One of the best teapots I've seen, albeit on the pricy side, is here

I've been reading here for awhile, but never commented. But tea is something dear to me, so I will vote. I love #7, #4 and #9 aren't bad either. I have found heavey pottery tea pots hold the heat in a little better than china. One thing I absolutely recommend though is that you test it out before you buy. A lot of pretty pots don't pour well. If you can, go to a kitchen store, or department store like Sears or something. They'll let you take the pot into the bathroom to fill and pour. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, you can always buy those drip stop attachments that slip on the end of the spout. Nothing is worse than a dribbly pot. Happy shopping.

1, 8 or 12 for me.

Silver is fabulous anytime :), number 1 for special formal teas, BUT I'd choose the Blue Willow for everyday:

Two pigeons flying high, Chinese vessels sailing by, Weeping willows hanging o'er, Bridge with three men, if not four, Chinese temple, there it stands, Seems to take up all the land. Apple tree with apples on, A pretty fence to end my song.

Mmmmh, that´s difficult - they are so different and all are very nice. I like #4 because of the colors... looks so "sunny". #5 looks interesting, but I guess I´d break it while using it the 1st time.

So I´ll vote for the friendly pot #4 =)

I like #8 and #11. As a fellow Canadian, I'm a huge tea drinker. It's English Breakfast in the morning, followed by Earl Grey Tea in the afternoon. (Murchies, of course!) Love your idea for TT. Have a great day!

I'd say #12. It's the one that caught my attention the most. And I'm not a tea drinker, or at least not hot tea, I'll have an iced sweet tea every now and then.

Happy TT and thanks for stopping by my site!
