World Peace Meditation

One day a year, December 31st, hundreds of millions of people around the world come together (in mind) for one hour ... 12:00 noon GMT... to pray and meditate for World Peace. It is believed, that as this grows and more people join in, that the scales will tip and we will finally have World Peace.

12:00 noon, GMT is 4:00 am PST... the time it is where I live. This means, to take part in the prayers & meditations at my Spiritual Centre, my church, I have to be there by 3:45 am this Sunday morning... yuck! I don't want to leave my warm bed to go off into a very cold night for anything... but World Peace is very important to me, so I will be up and off when needed to be. I will joyously pray/meditate for World Peace from 4 am - 5 am, then join all from my group that go out for breakfast afterwards. Then I have our usual Sunday meditation at 10:30, and church service at 11:00. Then I'll likely come home and nap, lol. As you can likely tell by the times I post here, I am not one to go to bed early, so have a "challenge" getting up early ... sigh.

Some highlights from the Quartus web site are:

** men, women, and children around the world gather to participate in the most comprehensive prayer activity in the history-- a planetary affirmation of peace, and love, forgiveness and understanding involving millions of people in a simultaneous global mind link. the purpose: to reverse the polarity of the negative force field in the race of mind, achieve a critical mass of spiritual consciousness, and usher in a new era of Peace on Earth.
** a moment of Oneness to dissolve the sense of separation and return human kind to Godkind.
** the New Beginning in restoring this world to sanity
**
a world wide non-denominational, non-political movement
** a grass roots cooperative effort to unite people in a common bond of love and bringing our planet back into balance.
** Noon Greenwich time was selected as the time for the healing meditation as it would encompass all time zones during that 24-hour period.
** on December 31, 1986, the mind-link totaled more than 500-million people representing all religious faiths on seven continents, in more than seventy countries, and in every state in the U.S. Over 500 spiritual and peace-related organizations around the world participated.

You can go there and read the rest yourself, lol.

Follow this link to find out what time Noon Greenwich time is where you live.

... and this link for find a copy of the healing meditation you can use at home in that hour if there is no group in your area for you to join. At the bottom of the Quartus page there are some links to groups in the US. Maybe if you Google a bit you can find something in your area of the world, as this is a global movement.
