I think it's safe to say who this table runner is for as I'm pretty sure Mom will never come here to read my stuff, unless I bring her here when I'm visiting her, and I won't do that until after Christmas if at all.
Anyway, yesterday I measured all the warp (405 ends, 97" lengths) in white Orlec (a shiny synthetic fibre) and have about half of it tied onto the loom at this point. Like the last table runner, I am tying the new ends onto the old loom waste as I am using the same threading pattern, but a different treadling. It's rather "cool" how you can change the look so much just by treadling differently, as you can see in the pictures of the last table runner, Champagne and Roses. at each end.
As I get a bit further along I will show some pictures of this one too. Nothing much to look at yet. If you want to see how the warp is measured, click on the Fibre Arts label to the right and see postings from Champagne and Roses.
