Dinner Is Served

Here's Reba's dinner:

Blue Rare Sirloin Steak, with a side of Crumbles and a large water.

Hey... that's not Reba!! I just turn my back for a moment and someone's porking down the beef, lol. This is Shadow, enjoying his "sister's" steak dinner.

As soon as Shadow had a wee snack and left, I opened the door... in came Reba and in 1.5 seconds that Bowl o' Beef was history!

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it feels to be able to eat this kind of food, and to feed it to my animals. It is just beyond words. I am so grateful!

Reba looks like a mighty big dog. What breed is she? I am having a hard time understanding the last of your blog about what you are eating. Do you eat dog food too or does the dog eat what you eat?:)

ROFLMAO - I just reread the end of my post and see what caused your confusion, Tim. I must confess that I skipped the dog crumbles. Instead, I had my steak in a "wrap" with broccoli sprouts. It was delicious.

Reba is a rottweiler, and yes, she is a big girl. Bigger than the average female rotti, but her mother was also very big, so not unexpected. I "adopted" Reba from her original family when she was about 7 1/2 weeks old and she was even fairly big then, lol. She turned 8 years old on Dec. 14th, and she still acts like a puppy. Very happy and healthy dog, and I am blessed to have her in my life. I keep planning to take her to a vet so I can weigh her, but keep forgetting to do so. About 3 years ago when I did so, she was 108# of pure muscle. (My mom at that time was 106#, lol)

I keep trying to get a good picture of Reba so I can post it, but she is camera shy and does everything to screw up all the attempts. I'll keep trying :o)
