Weaving Update

I'm making progress on this table runner. I finally "fit in" some weaving time yesterday and am doing some more today while waiting for pictures to upload here, so both things are "slow but sure" experiences today, lol.

41" of weaving with this color/pattern combination (remember, the ends are different). When I reach 54" of this color/pattern combination it will be time to switch and make the second end. This is the woven cloth going over the breast beam and wrapping around the cloth beam.
Side view of the breast and cloth beams and how the woven cloth wraps around them.

Now... back to the loom.

Thanks Claire. It's been just over a month now. I posted about it on October 21st so I likely started it shortly before that. If I had more time to work on it I would have it done by now, but have been spreading myself thin lately. If you like, go to my Fibre Arts label and check it out to see more of the making of this table runner. I have to get in gear with it as I have another one to make before Christmas too, lol.

Glad you like the snow pictures. We got a lot more snow since I took those yesterday. It's hard to say how much we'll get this year. It really varies and especially now with the global warming. Last year I didn't even touch my snow shovel because the snow we did get melted away within a couple days. This year we could have tons of the stuff and it could all stay... or not. Right now it's -15C so no chance this stuff will melt. The forecast is for cold weather all this week, but it could warm up next week and melt some of this away. (wishful thinking anyway, lol)
