"Sunday morning meta-meme"

I've decided to "step up" to Wildside's challenge and do this "meta-meme" thing... whatever a meta-meme is anyway. I copied the questions from her blog and will answer them here.

  • Do you like the look and contents of your blog? Yes, or I would change it. I like to share about my animals (My Critters) and Fibre Arts as they bring me such pleasure. I also like to share things about Health, Spirit, Peace as I hope to help others that read this, even if in a small way. I want to make a difference. I also love making people laugh, so must have a joke section (Good for a Laugh), and of course I include other things that I hope people will find interesting.
  • Does your family know about your blog? Yes. I've told them, but I don't think any of them come here... or at least none have left a comment. However, my dear niece Becky does have links to my old blogs from her blog.
  • Can you tell your friends about your blog? Do you consider it a private thing? Yes, I've told many friends about it and have the address at the bottom of many of my emails, even to Yahoo groups I belong to. No, I don't consider it a private thing, and I don't put extremely private stuff on it. I wouldn't put private, personal stuff onto the internet.
  • Do you read the blogs of those who comment on your blog? Or do you try and discover new blogs? Yes, I do read the blogs of those who comment on mine... it's only right. I also go through blogs I read to other blogs to check them out and usually (if I find them interesting) leave comments there.
  • Did your blog positively affect your mind? Give an example... I would say it's more like my mind positively affects my blog. I post things there that are of a positive nature, things I want to share with others as well as I want to find them again with ease.
  • What does the number of visitors to your blog mean? Do you have a traffic counter? I just recently got a traffic counter as there are not many comments left and I wanted to see if anyone was even coming here anymore or if I scared them away with too much of my Spiritual beliefs. The counter shows that there are still people coming here even if they aren't leaving comments. I love reading comments that are left here and on other blogs.
  • Do you imagine what other bloggers look like? No, not really, but I do like it when I see pictures of them on their blogs and get to see what they look like.
  • Do you think blogging has any real benefits? Yes I do. If nothing else, it gets us in touch with people all around the world. I also have read a lot of very interesting things on other people's blogs... stuff that makes me think, stuff that helps me learn new things, etc.
  • Do you think that the blogosphere is a stand alone world community separated from the real world? Only to a small extent... to the extent that we each allow it to be. I know I enjoy the blogs as part of my day, and yet I live very much in the real world.
  • Do some political blogs scare you? Do you avoid them? I am not interested in politics, so wouldn't be drawn to read a political blog. I don't think I'm scared or avoiding them, just not interested and have better things to do with my time than read them.
  • Do you think that criticizing your blog is useful? No I don't. I don't think any type of criticism is useful in any case.
  • Have you ever thought about what would happen to your blog if you died? No, I haven't thought about that. However, I guess it would just hang around out in the Never-Never Land of the Internet, lost in space for eternity. Some would still come here for awhile and seeing I'd posted nothing new would finally tire of returning. They would never know I'd died, just that I'd stopped blogging.
  • Which blogger has had the greatest impression on you? I can't say that any one has had more of an impression than any other. But the ones I visit on a regular basis, the ones I find interest me, are all in my Links.
  • Which blogger do you think is the most similar to you? I don't think any of them really are... We're all unique.
  • Name a song you want to listen to. Leroy The Redneck Reindeer! Gotta love that song at this time of year. I'd forgotten about it since last year, but got an email forward today from Mom with that song on it.
  • Tag some people. OK. Tag! If you are currently reading this, you're IT! (Let us know in the comments whether or not you've accepted this particular challenge...)

Good... I'm glad you found it interesting reading. I think this kind of thing helps us to get to know each other a bit more.
