Obituary
I sadly announce the death of my long time friend, my computer. It froze up totally (even the talking clock, Eric) at 8:25 am Friday October 20, 2006 (the computer is fried on Friday). Computer will be sadly missed by all those it leaves behind: me, the monitor, the keyboard, camera dock and other various bits and pieces. It is predeceaced by the printer that died earlier this summer. Funeral to take place tomorrow, Saturday October 21, 2006. Internment to be in a recycling situation. In leau of flowers, donations would be gladly accepted towards a replacement computer tower.

Thank God I have access to the computer at my church, and being a Board Member, a key to get in. At least I'm not totally offline, but will be very limited as I will only drive in to town to this computer so often... not like having one in my home.
The upside... now maybe I'll get more work done around home... sigh.
BTW... I've added my email address to my profile. It's a new one at hotmail as I will cancel my home internet until I have my new computer. So anyone who I've been communicating with can still contact me.
And of course, anyone wanting to donate to a new tower can contact me there too... LOL.
Eesh. It's finally made the Long Journey, huh? Well, maybe reincarnation will kick in for you and the New Improved Computer will be born under your roof!
