Photo Hunters

About Photo Hunters, Photo Hunters Themes 2008

Welcome to my post for this week's . The theme this week is "clouds".

On July 19 we had a wonderful family get together at my sister's cabin on Mable Lake. As you can see, it is beautiful up there. This is the north end of the fairly large lake. All was blue sky and sunshine, except for a few puffy white clouds along the mountains.

Happy Hunting Everyone!!

Ah … reminds me of my boating, fishing, water-skiing days of yesteryear! Lovely glassy water … interesting whispy clouds.

I see you have a spammer in the first comment today. I had to go to comment moderation to avoid them. Alice, Thanks for coming by Pappy's Balderdash today and leaving a comment. You have a very nice blog. We share the same last name although we are located at near opposite ends of North America. Come by anytime. Pappy

Hey Pappy, thanks much for letting me know that first was a spammer. I didn't catch that, must've been half asleep, haha. That one is now history... deleted.

What kind of fish are in this lake? Would your sister let an Irishman come and stay there and enjoy the beautiful surroundings?

Anonymous said...

Hmmmm, how is it that all the water doesn't pour out of the lake, what with that sideways slant and all. You must have interesting gravity in your part of the world!

Anonymous said...

Oh! But it's a pretty part of the world!

Rambling Irishman.... I'm not sure what kind of fish are in this lake, but could find out for you. If you are serious about a visit, my sister is part owner of a second cabin that they do rent out by the week, so I can ask her about it. (I never know when you are serious or joking... and besides, you do realize you'd be spending time in CANADA with CANADIANS don't you? hahahaha) Hugs!

Quilly.... I love how observant you are. I'd wondered if people would notice and comment on that. You see, here in Canada, we have lakes like that. Banks on one side are higher than on the other side to allow for slant. ROFLMAO. Either that or I was a little tilted taking pics off a moving boat. Haha.

EVERYONE - I wish I could reply to each of you. I used to do just that, tho found that it just takes soooo much time to visit as many blogs as I can and on top of that answer messages left here for me. I try to get to as many blogs as I can and feel that people most likely prefer I visit their blog than leave them a message here. I do want you all to know, tho, that I totally appreciate your comments and love reading them.

Blessings and HUGS to you all!!
