At one time I used to answer all the comments that were left here for me, then I found it took too much time, and I realized that most people never come back to read what I said in reply to their comments, so I quit. However... that was then and this is now. Quilly & Thom both reply to the comments on their blogs and seem to have a lot of people responding to that. SOooooo, I am now going to get back to commenting on comments. I just commented on 2 comments from Thom.

Do what works best for you. It IS a lot of work, and not everybody checks back, but when I don't do it, a lot of people miss it.
Alice I always try to come back and in my reader I subscribe to the comments but then it just puts it on that particular blog post and I try and figure out how to subscribe to the entire comments on the blog. The big problem seems to be with Blogger. I can never find one that says all comments.It always seems to go to the particular post and if I do that it just keeps adding up. So if you have your link for your comments please let me know. And sometimes when I see a response I don't always comment on that response to my comment. I try believe me. Sometimes I just get lazy with it. LOL...Thanks for the post :)
One more thing about Blogger. I've noticed that when I follow a blog, sometimes when I go back it doesn't show me following it anymore. Someone, and I can't for the life of me remember, said that blogger was having some issues with that. So if it looks like I'm not following I was it was just Blogger that messes it up. Have you noticed or been having and problems with Blogger in that respect?

Quilly, thanks for the input. I always notice how you and Thom have sO many comments on your posts, and I get 1 or 2 here and there. It has made me wonder if I would get more if I replied to comments. Even with the writing challenges/other memes where I visit every blog/lots of blogs and comment on them all, I don't get all that many comments left on mine. So worth a try to reply to comments as often as I can... can't promise to keep it up every time tho. Guess I need to keep them shorter than this one too, LOL.
Thom... all that stuff is beyond my technical knowledge at this point in time. I don't understand what the RSS Feed and the Reader and all that stuff are. Guess I could take the time to research, though there are just too many things that take priority at this time. I've been asked for Reba's RSS Feed address, or something like that, and haven't a clue what it would be or how to find it, so haven't signed her up with a dog blog thing that invited her to join.
I haven't noticed that, though wouldn't be surprised. I have found Blogger has problems with many things. There is a lot I like about Blogger, though I wish they could fix some of their problems. You are currently shown as one of my followers. Thanks. And I didn't even have to blow in your ear to get you to follow me, how cool is that?! LOL.

I try to respond to comments because I am so happy when someone leaves a comment. I check back on blogs where I know the blogger responds.

Alice and I want to tell you my opinion. I tend to not frequent blogs that only show one page of the post. I'll go and comment on their post, but I rarely go back to those that only show one on their front page. It's too hard to find the other posts to look for a reply to my comment. Just food for thought :)

Ya, I like to leave 5 days worth of posts up on my front page, though have cut it down to 3 days after reading something about if you have too many up it takes too long to load and then people don`t want to come and wait for the slow loading blog. It`s hard to know which way to go. Lately I haven`t been posting photos, though when I do I think they likely take longer to load than just words do.
I`d love to type the sound of blowing here, though I don`t know how I`d spell that, LOL.
