It's WHAT?

It's 5am, the roosters have been crowing for awhile now, and it's 5:02am... I'm beginning to think it's time for me to go to bed, so I think I will... right after I let the dog out for a pee, let the cat in and give him a drink of milk, give the chinchillas each a peanut, give the rabbit some dry bread, feed the fish, bring the dog back in and give her a cookie... oh ya, and floss/brush my teeth. Oh heck, going to bed seems like too much work just now. LOL. I've been Photo Hunting all night and enjoying it so much the time just flew by.

Now that's definitely a menagerie!

Isn't it fun sometimes to stay up all night doing something you enjoy?

Travis, that was only a part list of my menagerie. The total list is:

1 DOG (Reba - Rotweiler)
1 CAT (Shadow - Domestic Short-hair Tabby
1 RABBIT (Grace Hawk - Netherland Dwarf)
1 BETTA FISH (male, FINster)
3 BIRDS (budgies - male, Tom Tom & females, Lady Bird & Jamie)
5 CHINCHILLAS (males, Smudge & Charley Chin; females, Daisy, Sheri, Cherry Chin)

Then outside there is:
CHICKENS (Ameraucana x Sex Link Layer - Chuck Chook [rooster], Amy and Amy [hens]. Can't tell them apart so give them the same name, haha. Bantam - Young'un [rooster], Chicklette, Lacy, and 2 or 3 with no names [hens])
PIGEONS (these are wild pigeons that came to live here and eat chicken feed. I call the God's pigeons)

There... I think that's it for today, but numbers and types have been know to change without notice, haha.

My question to you is or i should say my wondering is how you manage all this particular work, i am sure you would have some personal commitments too in a day???

Hi Flingcom. Yes, I do have a lot of other commitments in my life. I don't always stay up all night as I did that night, though it's not unheard of either, haha. I am not employed so that gives me an extra 8-10 hours a day, I'm single so have no one else to answer to or look after other than my animals. They are my family. I am way behind on house work and yard work, yet there's no one to complain. It works well for me, haha.

My list of animals has changed since I posted the above, 13 months ago. It is now:

1 DOG (Reba - Rotweiler)
1 RINGNECK PARROT (DW - female)
1 BUDGIE BIRDS (male, Tom Tom)
1 RABBIT (Grace Hawk - Netherland Dwarf)
5 CHINCHILLAS (males, Smudge & Charley Chin; females, Daisy, Sheri, Cherry Chin)

I often wonder how people with jobs and families manage to fit everything in... I guess it's like me, we somehow manage it all. Toastmasters and my volunteer work at my Spiritual Centre take lots of my time, and are well worth it to me.

Have a wonderful day. I must go do more animal chores and some house work, haha.
